Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth
A Nutrient Goldmine!

Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth, a Nutrient Goldmine.

Fields Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth from Rare Breed Grass Fed Shorthorn.
Cooked for 48 hours minimum.

This makes Fields Bone Broth So Much Thicker and Tastier than many I have tried that are watery and don’t have much flavour, this is because we cook twice as long as most to extract all the goodness. Also, there is nothing added to the bone broth but water, it is 100% pure & natural!

Bones are basically 50% protein, cooking them as a bone broth for 48 hours extracts the protein and 17 amino acids Inc collagen, glycine, glucosamine, L-glutamine, Proline, Chondroitin  and Highly Nutritious Minerals Inc Calcium, Vitamin A, Vitamin B2 & B12 , Magnesium, Vitamin E,  Copper, Zinc, Iron, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Vitamin D, Selenium, plus Omega 3s & 6s.

Benefits

The amino acids in bone broth can help stimulate muscle protein synthesis. Muscle protein synthesis is essential for the ongoing growth, repair, and maintenance of skeletal muscle groups. Aids with weight loss as bone broth is high in protein and low in calories so you don’t feel hungry. Other benefits include, Anti-tumour, Anti-aging, Cell-protecting, helps Arthritis joint protection and-pain relief, Stronger healthier nails and hair, can alleviate diabetes and lower blood sugar; supports insulin regulation, Can help to improve sleep quality and mood, Helps Support the Immune System and Increases Energy Levels, Helps normalize stomach acid, which is useful for colitis, celiac disease, ulcers, I.B.S, leaky gut syndrome and other inflammatory gut conditions.

Weight Loss

While more studies of gut bacteria and weight loss need to be conducted, research has shown that obese people have more of a certain type of bacteria called Firmicutes and less of another type called Bacteroidetes in their digestive tracts. The higher proportion of Firmicutes is believed to lead to a higher amount of calories extracted from food. Therefore, a higher ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes has become one of the markers of obesity.

Bone broth is a good source of L-glutamine, an essential amino acid (building block of protein) necessary for the body and gut health. L-glutamine was found in studies to reduce the Firmicutes in the gut and, therefore, aid in weight loss.

Other Benefits

Loaded with gelatine, bone broth helps restore the strength of gut lining and supports the growth of probiotics. Altogether, that means a healthier gut and lower inflammation levels in the digestive tract, bone broth is full of  prebiotic fibre and probiotics that are easily digested to boost and strengthen the gastrointestinal system and, in turn, aid in the absorption of the essential nutrients the body needs. It also Protects kidney function and aids Liver Detoxification.

Ways to Use Bone Broth

As a drink or shot after a workout as bone broth is high in anti-inflammatory amino acids, glycine and proline, which have been shown to help speed the recovery process and reduce inflammation; allowing muscles and joints to heal quicker, and enabling us to get back to the gym faster. Some people freeze as shots in an ice cube tray so quick and easy to take out.

As a meal substitute to aid in weight loss as it keeps you feeling full for longer, its perfect for intermittent fasting and all diets Inc keto, paleo and low carb.  I drink it like a soup by simply adding some curry powder, turmeric, chopped coriander and salt & pepper to taste, this makes your bone broth into a rich spicy soup.

As a gravy, just boil in a pan, add any meat juices from whatever you have cooked and you can just add Bisto gravy granules and it tastes amazing but can be made in minutes, tastes so much better than shop bought gravy and its full of goodness.

You can also add bone broth into a casserole, curry, stew or any dish requiring liquid, this boosts the flavour and goodness.

I have done my own research into the benefits of bone broth and I now use it daily, I can honestly say that I feel the benefits and its perfect for me as I am following a low carb lifestyle, I don’t call it a diet as I can’t do diets but I have lost nearly 3 stone and feel much better but I speak for myself only, everybody has their own opinion of what and how they want to eat, these are a few of the benefits that I have collated but please look into this yourself and I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised, many people in the fitness world swear by it as do people suffering with various stomach and digestive problems, there are many testimonies out there from these people, it is a very interesting topic.
